Block mobile ads, the easy way

Luna installs a tiny on-device certificate that filters ads from apps and websites — nothing leaves your phone.

A quick privacy check

Confirm you're old enough to agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

You must be 18 or older to continue.

Download the ad-blocking certificate

Safari will ask if you want to Allow the download. Tap Allow — then come back here.

Install the certificate

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, then:

  1. Tap Profile Downloaded at the top of the Settings app
  2. Tap Install in the top-right
  3. Enter your iPhone passcode
  4. Tap Install once more to confirm

Turn on the Luna certificate

Back in Settings → General, finish the trust step:

  1. In Settings → General, tap About
  2. Scroll down and tap Certificate Trust Settings
  3. Toggle the Luna certificate on

You're all set!

Luna is now blocking ads on this device. Open the Luna app any time to pause or resume ad blocking.

Turn Luna back on

Your Luna certificate is installed but currently switched off, so ads aren't being blocked yet. Re-enable it in Settings:

  1. Open Settings → General
  2. Tap About
  3. Scroll down and tap Certificate Trust Settings
  4. Toggle the Luna certificate on

Luna's full Privacy Policy has the full detail. The points below summarise the commitments that matter most to your day-to-day use.

  • We do not want to know who you are. We never ask for your name, email or phone number to install Luna.
  • We de-identify any personal information we collect. Anything technical we receive is stripped of identifiers before it lands in our systems.
  • We never sell collected personal information to third parties. Full stop.
  • We purposefully avoid sensitive data. We don't intentionally handle health, financial, or other regulated categories of personal data.
  • We use only anonymised information to improve Luna and develop further Sensor Tower products and services.
